2nd Annual Hope Center 5K and Fun - August 6

Don't miss the 2nd Annual Hope Center 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, August 6. Last year, we had more than 250 folks come together for this special day and we are expecting an even bigger crowd this year. Don't miss out on the fun!

Holly Hahn has been working with a group of middle school girls over the summer using the Couch to 5K program. When many of us couldn't even think about walking outside because of the heat, these girls have been running - AT 3 IN THE AFTERNOON! Above are a few of the girls with their new running shoes. They are pumped about the 5K and just crossing the finish line will be a huge accomplishment for these young ladies. Pray for them as they take on this challenge together.

The other children are looking forward to racing in the Fun Run. This truly is an exciting day in the neighborhood. After the race, stick around for music, barbecue, and fun. Also, the children in the neighborhood will be receiving new school supplies for the Fall.

When: Saturday, August 6 at 8 a.m. (Fun Run at 8:45 a.m.) - Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. on race day.
